Mike F. Bird (PhD University of Queensland) is Academic Dean and Lecturer in New Testament at Ridley College in Melbourne, Australia. He taught previously at Highland Theological College and the Brisbane School of Theology. In addition to being an ordained Anglican priest, he is the author and editor of over thirty books including the popular text book Evangelical Theology and the award winning volumes The Gospel of the Lord: How the Early Church Wrote the Story of Jesus and with N.T. Wright, The New Testament in its World. In his spare time he enjoys tennis and despising coffee.
